 ARCHITECTURAL MODEL:

(Mostly an excuse to buy a scroll saw.)

The model of the trains was built around 1997 and is 1/8 scale of the actual layout.
Changes in reality - the model and the actual layout differ in the following ways:
1. The Heavy Industry & Switch Yard (2nd from the right) and Light Industry & Land Works (3rd from the right) sections have been swapped.
2. The space between sections in the model is equivalent to 6 feet across. The actual space is 4 feet.
3. In the model there were a number of mainlines that traveled across multiple section. In reality only the Doodlebug travels between sections.

Entire model mounted on wall.
